In assembling a totally integrated neon fabrication facility, the EGL Gas Transfer System is a key element. Simply eliminating system shutdowns for flask replacements will justify investing in this system. Additional advantages are as follows:
    1. Gas purity: Gas bottled in cylinders maintains its highest purity.
    2. Tighter control: With the system’s pressure gauge, stopcock leakage is virtually non-existent.
    3. Better economy: Liter-for-liter, costs are reduced by purchasing gas in bulk. EGL tanks are available in 25, 50 and 100 liter sizes.

Additionally, since the tanks are capable of being filled to a much higher pressure than glass flasks, 100% of gas volume will be used rather than approximately 80% when utilizing the glass flasks.
Also available: Custom systems adapted to your special requirements. Call EGL for further information.
The installation and use of the EGL Gas Transfer System provide uninterrupted flow of pure Neon, Argon or special gas mixtures into tubes for neon signs, cold cathode, etc. The system employs a precision-made filling valve which eliminates the use of two glass stopcocks, and it is virtually maintenance-free. Clean gas flow is guaranteed, as compared to the old double-stopcock system which requires constant lubrication and which occasionally invites leakage of air into the glass flasks. No entrapped grease vapors are automatically pushed into the neon tubes when the glass stopcocks are used.
Of great significance is that once a system is installed, no gas losses are incurred when changing glass flasks with small, immeasurable volumes of remaining gases. No labor charges are incurred for each changing of replacement flasks. For example, one fifty (50) liter cylinder will eliminate 50 bottle changes. A system can hold 100% of its gases indefinitely, unlike glass stopcocks which cannot prevent see page for long periods of time.
